I am new to this area and went in last Tuesday 4/8/25. I ordered the 3 amigo omelette and it was awesome. Today 4/10/25 I ordered the El Rey King Nachos and it is a full meal. The owner Jacob is very nice and the staff friendly as well. Kudos also for what he does on Sunday offering a church service and paying it forward to the community.

I placed a lunch order here through GrubHub, so can't comment on the ambiance. I can, however, say that I appreciated the restaurant's attention to customer service.... I had specifically requested vegetarian beans for my chicken taco bowl and the restaurant called to confirm that their beans were cooked in vegetable oil and not lard. I was impressed by this personal assurance to a carryout order. Since I placed my order through GrubHub's discount arrangement through Amazon Prime, I could only receive free delivery (of course I tipped) upon placing a minimum order of $12.00. Since my chicken taco salad was below the minimum threshold, I also ordered guacamole and chips. While I hadn't intended to order a more expensive lunch, it was well worth it to take home delicious leftovers! I've posted a picture of the taco salad and the guacamole. As you can see, the portions are generous and I can assure you that it was absolutely delicious! All ingredients were fresh and of high quality. The guacamole was also well flavored with a delicious tang of lemon and/or lime with the perfect combination of whatever proprietary seasonings were used. Since I ate at my desk at work, I appreciated the plastic utensils and napkins. The lunch was amazing! Can't wait to have the experience of dining in at this restaurant!

Best Mexican food in metro Toledo, excepting maybe, maybe Deseo. The food is delicious, the staff is kind and courteous. .

Awemazing!!! (Awesome service and amazing food!) LOL! The ambience definitely gives West Coast vibes. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to have consistent hours of operation. There was a few times I visited during what I thought was the restaurant's hours but, discovered they were closed.

I am a terrible person. It's taken me WAY too long to visit Lowrider, and I blame no one but myself. Everyone is unbelievably friendly, and as a first-timer, I immediately felt at ease. And the food? It is outrageously perfect. The menu covers a lot of ground, and the variety of options for something as simple as a taco begs you to come back again and again. Of course, the delicious flavors and fresh ingredients don't hurt. While parking isn't super apparent, there is almost always a spot or two right in front, and there is also easy street parking and parking lots within a block. That is to say, don't let its slightly odd and easy-to-miss location scare you off. Add it to your to-do list for lunch options if you work downtown, and if aren't often in the area, I 100% suggest going out of your way to check Lowrider out. And if you ever go to the Downtown Library, you HAVE to add a stop to LC. Simple, authentic, delicious, and super friendly. Lowrider is a perfect downtown cafe for anyone who likes good food and wants to keep their money local.

First time to this cafe. Being a Toledo native, it reminded me of the cafes out in East LA, really dope ambiance and vibe, great service and makes you feel like home! Always great to see La Raza doing good, bringing the culture to Toledo! Definitely recommend here, great food also will come back Órale!

First, the vegan menu is extensive. So much to choose from. I had the loaded vegan taco with corn tortillas and the chorizo vegan burrito. I started with the taco, and it was, by far, the best vegan taco I have ever had. Then I started on the vegan chorizo burrito and I found out what heaven tastes like. Amazing! The staff is incredible, the owner, Jacob, personally greeted me, and my server Veronica was so nice! A must visit and eat in downtown Toledo!Vegan Chorizo Burrito
